How to sanitize
There are different methods and products suitable for sanitizing. SANIWORKS® combines multiple technologies and sanitizing agents which, working in synergy or individually, allow to sanitize in a constant and effective way. The diversity of treatment consists of the technology and the sanitizing agents that interact and are applied in each of them.
Each sanitization process has a specific goal and purpose for which it is more effective than another. For example, one of the main factors that influence the use of one technology, compared to another, is linked to whether it can be used in the presence of people or not.

Sanitize with UV-C rays
The ultraviolet rays have a destructive effect on the DNA of bacteria , viruses, fungi and mites, damaging their reproductive system and preventing their spread, with an intense germicidal effect. For this reason they are already widespread in various sectors due to their effectiveness and their simplicity of application. In fact, the Italian Istituto Superiore di Sanità, among the guidelines in its report no.25 / 2020 mentions them among the main sanitizing methods: "treatment with low wavelength UV rays (220 nm)".
In particular, our technology uses UV-C rays , which have a wavelength that can vary between 200 and 280 nm.
UV-C rays are one of the most effective and least impacting methods of sanitization since they do not involve the use of chemicals. They can also be used in the presence of people as they are not harmful to humans. The only precaution is to avoid close contact with the eyes.
